About the Role

As the Short Form Content Editor at Rita Co. you’ll help transform raw clips into engaging social content that captures Rita’s vibe and resonates across platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. From recap edits to voiceover-driven posts, you’ll bring a creative eye to polishing content through motion graphics, captions, and light color correction—helping us stay fresh, relevant, and consistent.

You’ll work closely with leadership on creative direction while staying on top of trends and experimenting with formats that boost reach and engagement. Beyond video, you’ll also assist with carousels, overlays, and prepping content for publishing—ensuring Rita’s online presence feels dynamic, polished, and on-point.

Responsibilites

Edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels, turning raw clips into clean, engaging posts.
Collaborate with leadership to execute creative direction while contributing trend-driven ideas.
Add captions, simple motion graphics, and light color correction to enhance video quality.
Prep and format content for publishing, including carousels and text overlays.
Use tools like CapCut, InShot, Canva, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom/Photoshop to optimize assets.
Stay on top of platform trends and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
Maintain a consistent posting rhythm by editing and delivering content on schedule.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience editing short-form content for social media (TikTok, Instagram Reels).
Strong proficiency with editing tools like Capcut, InShot, Premiere Pro or similar tools.
Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Lightroom for resizing, retouching, or color adjustments.
Familiarity with Canva for creating overlays, text treatments, or simple design assets.
A strong eye for detail, pacing, and visual storytelling in short-form video.
Knowledge of social media trends and ability to adapt them creatively for Rita’s brand.
Reliable, efficient, and excited to help keep content flowing consistently.
